I came to have my teeth cleaned, Jesse was my hygienist, and of course she figured out that I had periodontal disease, and that needed to be taken care of. I remember my appointment was 11 o’clock in the morning. I was a little shaky, because I didn’t know what I was going to encounter. But no, they put me at ease completely, and they did the work. I was there at 11 o’clock and I didn’t go home until 6 o’clock in the evening.
It was interesting, because the TVs were on. So, he’s doing surgery on me, and both of us were watching basketball championships. It was hysterical, because even if I could talk for a minute, you know, “Oh, the person, that person did … Wow!” It was just great. So I was kind of fine, actually. Then when he started putting the implants in, there was a little gadget about this big that he had to go this way. I said, “Dr. Garret, I feel like I’m in an auto-repair shop,” because he was doing crank, crank, crank, crank. Everybody laughed, because it was kind of funny, but it hurt? No, it didn’t hurt. It was a very good experience.
