Dr. Wayne King is a leading endodontist in our area and the only endodontist in Hillsborough. He brings more than two decades of dental experience with him to Carolina Bright Smiles and is our resident root canal specialist. After completing a Bachelor of Science at Lenoir Rhyne College, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
He served in the prestigious role of Dental Director for the Catawba County Health Department before establishing his own dental practice in Hickory, NC in 1996. Eleven years later, he returned to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his Master of Science in Endodontics. After three years of serving as a teaching assistant in his department, he decided to bring his expertise to Carolina Bright Smiles.
