Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, and with three chemotherapy which affects all your body, it affected my teeth and broke one of my teeth. It was an old crown and it had broken off, and so my husband comes here. He called for me and we came up and Dr. Garrett and Cameron took care of me. I was really nervous and so once I got here Cameron came out and introduced herself and helped me back to where [inaudible 00:00:41] because I was, again, I was pretty weak and I’m very sick. I met Dr. Garrett and the two of them began to work on me. Like I said, I’m dental-phobe and so I was extremely nervous, I have not met them before and going through all of these. He was incredible, I’ve never met anyone quite as kind as him.
During my procedure I know there were three different times he completely stopped and stood back and said, “What can I do to make this better for?” which is unheard of, I’ve never ever had anybody say that, and he was just so kind about it. Not that he was aggravated because I was scared or any of those things, he was just generally want to know what can I do to make this better for you. She was incredible, the whole time she held my hand which was an amazing … It’s not that you’re a baby, but in that situation having so much going on and going through so much, just having her there holding my hand was incredible.
It’s just totally wonderful, I mean the two of them together made my experience here the absolute best I’ve ever had in any dental office, or actually, in any kind of healthcare professional.
